Proserpine Ladies Golf
Last week was the Vivienne Demartini and Lyn Muller Trophy Day and an interesting “Secret Eclectic” was played. Viv and Lyn secretly chose 9 of the 18 holes for a best score total. The winner was our “Kiwi” member Vicki Wallace with a score of 26.5. Well done Vicki! Runner-up was Tessa Aitken with a score of 33.
Over 18holes the best net was won by Bessie Simpson with a score of 69 and runner-up was Alison Day on 73net.
Nearest the Pins were Anna Winterbourn on the 13th and 16th. Alison Day on the 6th; Bessie Simpson on the 9th; Caroline Awdry on the 2nd and Beryl Miller on the 17th.

Thursday saw Bruce Marshall win the 18 comp with 46 points from Ray Plant and Andrew McKay also on 46. That was Ray’s last Thursday game before leaving the area and he produced his best score of 3-under par 68 to go out with good memories. Bill Woods and Peter Browning had 44. Ray Plant also took out the 9-hole comp with 29 points from Gary Flannery on 26 and George Stevenson on 23 Pins went to Ray Plant, Brad Albertson and Andrew Colborne.
Saturday’s Metropole monthly medal saw Josh Bleys win with net 63. Norm Ryan was runner up in C-grade with 64 while Chris Elms won the B-grade with 63 from Steve Abel on 68 and Gavin Milne on 65 pipped Simon Dobbins for the A-grade. Pins went to Don Hope, Rob Stanley, Bruce Otto, Daniel Jackson, Mark Richards and Mat Bluck.
This Saturday will see the Amalgamated Pest Control 4-ball stableford.
