Proserpine Ladies Golf
A very special welcome back to Kathryn Borer from her ocean voyage and congratulations in becoming our new President.
The Monthly Medal was played in hot, dry conditions with plenty of run last Wednesday.
The stroke and putt competition was won with a blistering 69nett by Caroline Awdry. Runner-up was Beryl Miller hot on her tail with 70nett. The run down was Lyn Muller 72 nett; Tracey Duncan 73nett and Vivienne Demartini 73nett.
The Least Putts was also won by Caroline with a wonderful 27 putt round.
Viv Demartini won NTP on 9 and Lyn Muller won on the 13th and 16th.

Thursday Club
Mike Ward had a great score of 61 to take out the 18-hole prize from Wayne Temby on 62. Tony Woolridge, Garry Flannery and Rob Stanley had 65Wayne Temby had net 29 to win the 9-hole competition from Ian Anderson on 31. Pins went to Josh Bleys, Wayne Temby, Barry Mortimer and Rob Stanley.
Saturday.
The Amalgamated Pest Control pairs event was won by Roz Apps and Margaret Cunningham with 54 points from Norm Ryan and Rob Stirling on 53. Benn Ryan and Luchie Gardel came third with 52. Rob Stirling, Simon Dobbins, Gavin Milne, Rob Stanley and Lewis Tairaki won the pins. This Saturday will see the Brian Delaney Memorial four-ball stroke event following the AGM at 10.00.
Dawnbusters
The winner of the 9 hole competition on Sunday was Paul Grace with 48 gross/28 nett. Paul won this competiton on a three way chip off with Brad Albertson and Tim McBride who both had a 28 nett score as well.
Brad Albertson was runnerup and also won the two pinshots. Jim Evans was the snake putter, Gary Flannery had the least number of putts for the comp with 12 putts and Phillip won the Bradmans prize.
Last week the Dawnies played in the Father Gard 3 ball nine hole ambrose, thanks for your support guys. We raised $280 for the Royal Brisbane Childrens Hospital. Thanks to Kevin and Sandra Watson – breakfast was yummy.
