The Opening Day on Saturday saw Lyn Muller take the trophy with 45 points narrowly from Matthew Bluck on 44 points. Seven players had solid scores of 41 points and another six had 40 points. Pins went to Mark Turner, Greg Daniels, Mick Leo, Lyn Muller and John Grosskreutz.
The Thursday competition went to Chris Elms with 45 points from Pascal Neunreuther and Trevor Nosworthy on 42. The 9-hole event went to Gary Flannery on 27 points from Peter Elms and Kerry Hall on 24.
This weekend’s main event will be the Bert Woodhouse Memorial single stroke on Saturday.

Garry Flannery was the winner of the Dawnies Sunday comp this week. He had a 49gross/28 nett score, Wayne HaNDLEY WAS RUNNERUP WITH 35 GROSS/30 NETT WITH Tim McBride third on 52 gross/32 nett
Huggie also won the pinshot on number 13, Jack spruce won on number 16 on a countback! Garry Flannery was the snake putter, Huggie scored again with the least number of putts(12 for 9 holes) and new member Trevor Beard won the Bradmans.
The juniors will recommence their training onTuesday afternoons with Rob McConnell this week. There are two comps each week for them now with David Danes sponsoring a Saturday morning competition from 9 am. The Firday competition tees off at 3.30pm.
