Thursday saw Albert Pini win with net 64 from Dave Morris also on 64. Les Bradford and Pascal Neunreuther had 66. Russell Reardon won the 9-hole comp with 30 on a count back from Les Bradford. Pins went to Laurie Greenwood, Don Hope, Mike Ward and Al Graham.
Saturday
The Airlie Beach Hotel single stableford was taken out by Dave O’Connor with 42 points. Greg Walker pipped Mat Bluck on 41 for second with Darren Gunn on 40. Pins went to Larry Muller, Dave O’Connor, Bob Dwyer and Warren Deighton..
This Saturday will see the Hospital charity 3-person ambrose at 10am for a 10.30 start
Proserpine Ladies Foursomes Championships
The Annual Ladies Foursomes competition was played on Sunday over 27holes.
The overall winners for the day with a score of 136 gross was Bernice Petersen and Kate Deambrogio. Runner-up went to Lyn Muller and Viviene Demartini with 143 gross.
The nett winners on the day was the team of Kate Collins and Tracey Duncan with a nett 106. Runner-up winners were Reh Hull and Sue Smith with a close 108.5nett.
The two NTP’s were won by Roseanne Apps and Caroline Awdry on the 13th and Jill Farinelli on the 16th.
A reminder the Proserpine Ladies Golf Championships will be played on Sunday 21st September over 27holes at 9am tee
Proserpine Ladies Golf
It was a fine day with a good attendance for the Par Competition last Wednesday. The outright winner was Marlene Gray with a +1.
Viviene Demartini was 2nd on a count back together with Caroline Awdry (3rd) both with -1. Lyn Muller was a close 4th with -2.
There was a good share of NTP’s with the winners being Mary Taylor on the 5th, Sharon Adam on the 9th, Bernice Peterson on the 7th, Mareta Smith on the 13th and Margaret Cunningham on the 16th.
