CHOOK RUN 

Rob Stanley was powerful and accurate until he teed off on the tenth. He did manage to post 26 stableford points to take out this weeks chook run, and  has now been handicapped appropriately to +3. Ann Gardel came second with 23 points, beating Steve Abel on a countback. As Kenny Todd was not present when his card was drawn the prize jackpots this week.
DAWNBUSTERS
Arthur Marriott has been practicing during the week and surprised all the Dawnbusters by winning this week with a 39 nett. Bruce Upchurch was one shot behind the leader 38, and had the least number of putts and George Stevenson was a further stroke behind. Brad Albertson got nearest the pin .Tom Fleming was fairly awarded the Snake. Jaccy Thomas was not far off hitting a century therefore received the coverted Bradmans award.
JUNIORS
The juniors played a competition on Friday with most players completing 7 holes, well done. Coaching continues on Tuesdays at 3.30pm sharp and this weekend the  Junior Open 2 ball ambrose will be played at the Proserpine Golf Club.
WHITSUNDAY GOLF CLUB
The players braved a cold morning to play a Foursome Championship.
The winning team on 60 net was Tony Reese and Troy Leisch.
Runners up were Kerry Hall and Mal Carter on net 70.5
Nearest the pins were also won by the winning teams on the day - Tony & Troy
on 13,  and Kerry & Mal on 2.
Next week will be a 7am hit-off for a 9-hole stroke.
