Proserpine Ladies Golf
Last Wednesday a Stableford competition was played for the
Tracey Duncan Trophy. It was a close result with the outright deserving winner being Robin Biggs on 39points. Runner-up was Anna Winterbourn on 38points; Roseanne Apps 37points; Kathryn Borer on 37points and Bessie Simpson 36points.
The mystery NTP prize was won by Mary Taylor on the 9th.
Other NTP’s for the day were won by Roseanne on the 2nd; Robin Biggs on the 6th; Lyn Muller 11th; Tracey Duncan 13th and Caroline Awdry on the 16th.

Thursday Club
Albert Pini had 44 points to take out the 18-hole prize from Michael Ward on 43 and Les Bradford on 42. Mike Kavanagh with 24 points beat Harry Gellatly on a count-back to win the 9-hole competition. Pins went to Albert Pini, Brad Albertson and Garry Flannery.
The summer solstice drinks will be on December 18.
Saturday.
The Brian Delaney Memorial four-ball stroke event was won in fine style by Mark Richards and Jill Farinelli with net 53 from Matt Bluck and Ken Muller on 56 and Ann Gardel and Mick Parella on 56. Pins went to Gavin Milne, Albert Pini, Greg Walker, Jill Farinelli and Warren Deighton.
The A grade match play winner is Gavin Milne, Chris Bailey is the B-grade champ and Albert Pini the C-grade champ.
This Saturday will see the Whitsunday Coast Guardian single stableford event.
Dawnbusters
Al Greedy won the 9 hole competition played on Sunday with 51 gross/26 nett score on a putt off with Jack Spruce who came in with 48 gross/ 26 nett. Bill O’Shea was third with 51 gross/31 nett.
Gary |Flannery and Larry Muller won the pinshots on No 13 and No16. Bruce Upchurch had the least number of putts withh11 putts and Maurie Moody was the winner of the Bradmans.
