Proserpine Ladies Golf
Wednesday the 17th September was the Tiny Emmerson & Reh Hull Trophy Day with a “Tropical Theme”. It was a fun day with a field of 22 players playing a Stroke competition.
Both Tiny and Reh played extremely well but the winning prize on a count back was Tracey Duncan 72nett and runner-up Alison Day also on 72nett.
Longest Drive on the 12th was won by Lyn Muller. Hardest Worker was Wendy Byrnes and NTP’s went to Lyn Muller 2nd; Tracey Duncan 9th; Marlene Gray 13th; Bernice Petersen 15th and Di Dobbins 16th.
Least Putts for the Day was shared with Anna Winterbourn and Tracey Duncan both with 30putts.
The “Best Dressed” prizes, looking bright and tropical were Marieta Smith and Di Dobbins.
As with the weather, competition is heating up and we welcome more ladies to join every Wednesday at 9am for a 9.30am tee off.

Sunday 21st September was a perfect day to contest the Ladies Club Championships.
The event was played over 27holes with some wonderful golf played in ideal conditions.

Thirty-three golfers played an 18 hole stroke event on Tuesday and the winner was Murray Taylor with 63 nett. Runnerup was Don Hope with 69 nett.
The 9 hole competition was a single stroke with Murray taking the honours as well with 30 nett, Merv Cotterill was the runnerup with 35 nett on a count back from Russell Reardon.
The nearest to the pin prizes were take by Alan Greedy and Margater Angledal on number 9 and Barry Mortimer and Anna Winterbourn on number 16
