Thursday Club:
A good example of "If he can win, anyone can win" was the case last Thursday as an old club favourite, Ron Jamieson, wound back the clock to post the winning score in the 9 hole comp. His 25 points just held out a close field with Ron's younger brother George Gnezdiloff and Dave Gates on 24 points. Al Greedy and Ian Powell made the rundown with 22 and 21 points respectively.
Bill Woods played solid golf to win the 18 hole event with an honest 42 points. Les Bradford was just off the pace with 40 points with Ron Jamieson and Dave Gates in the rundown aswell.
Pin Shots went to Bill Woods, Ernie Holstein.
Saturday:
Rob Stanley finally showed his true colours after 2 years of poor performances. With a course record 65 off the stick, his 46 points will go a long way to erase the memories of recent times on the fairways.
Bill Foot began his form build up for pennants with a solid 41 points with Gavin Milne and Chris Elms also on 41 points.
Pin Shots went to Lew Tuck, Rob Stanley, Lance Lloyd, Gavin Milne and Steve Ischenko.
