Proserpine Ladies Golf
What wonderful weather for golf.  Our ladies played a Versus Par competition on the 19th September.  Robin Biggs convincingly won this with +5. Runner up with +2 was Reh Hull on a count back from Lyn Muller. NTP's were Marieta Smith on 2nd. Bernice Petersen on 9th and 16th with Shirley Newell finding the 13th.
Ladies please remember that we are holding our Annual General Meeting at 2pm on Wednesday 3rd October 2007.  This will take place after our regular Wednesday round of golf.
Juniors
The juniuors played a 9 hole competition on Friday however the holiday fever must have got everyone as noone was able to complete their 9 holes. Prizes were won by Tayla Jeffries, Mat Bluck for handing in their cards. There will be no coaching over the school holidays but juniors are encouraged to play a social game with friends.
Friday chook Run
Results for the week ending 21 September are: Ray Plant was the winner with 22 stableford points on a countback with Don Stafford. David Danes was present when Don drew his card and was very pleased with the prize.
Dawnbusters
Tom Fleming was the winner of the 9 hole competition played by the Dawnies on Sunday in beautiful conditions. Jim Evans was the runnerup with 36 nett followed by Norm Rasmussen with 37 nett.
Skello won the pinshot, young Brodie Moore won the Bradman's prize, John Albertson had the least number of putts and the snake putter was "Angry Little Man".

WHITSUNDAY GOLF CLUB
RESULTS  23th SEPTEMBER, 2007
This week 17 players travelled up to Bowen for 9 holes. It was great to see
Lau and Paul Keating on a visit back from New Guinea having a hit with us
again.
A-grade winner was Danny York with 35 net and runner-up Kerry Hall with 36
net.
B-grade winner was Ernie Holstein with 33 net and runner-up Mal Hill with 34
net.
C-grade winner was Ian Giles with 32 net and runner-up was Ron Chant with 37
net.
Nearest the pins were won by the visitors, Lau Keating; Paul Keating  and
Chris Bailey.
Next weeks competition is Presidents V Captains at Proserpine with a 6.30am
tee-off.
