Last Saturday saw two youngsters in Chris Elms with 43 points and Simon Dobbins with 42 points take out the major prizes in Proserpine.
The Thursday competition went to Ray Plant with a 67 from Pascal Neunreuther also on 67 followed by Stefan Kovacik on 69. The 9-hole event went to Mick Kavanagh with a net 31 from Stefan Kovacik also on 31.
This weekend’s event will be a “versus par” on Saturday, with the April Metropole monthly medal the following week. Opening day will be on the next Saturday.
Proserpine Ladies Golf
With the weather finally clearing up and the golf course being opened for a full round of golf, a few Ladies played Single Stableford on Wednesday 19th March. It was a lovely day without any rain. A newly arrived lady to the Club, Tracey Duncan, was winner for the day with the runner up being Alison Day. NTP’s were won by Marlene Gray on the 9th and Lyn Muller on the 13th. There will be a combination birthday lunch after the round of golf on 2nd April. Draw is 9am for 9.30am hit off. Please bring a plate of goodies and share some fun and stories.
