Proserpine Ladies Golf 
Wednesday Ladies golf hit off on 22nd August playing a single stroke with putting competition. The course is just beautiful and the day was perfect for golf with some really good scores.  Viv Demartini won the day with a net 67.  Runner-up was Marlene Gray, with 70 net, closely followed with a net 71 by Robyn Biggs.  Bessie Simpson again had her putter in control with a winning 29 puts.  NTP's went to Bernice Petersen on the 2nd and 9th hole. Marlene Gray taking the 13th and Lyn Muller the 16th.   The scores from the Saturday and Wednesday stroke events found Viv Demartini with her round of 67 net wins the August Monthly Medal, with Jill Farenelli runner up with 68 net.
The Ladies Club Championships will be played on Sunday 2nd September. This will be a 27 hole event with hit off at 9am.  There will be a meeting of all lady members after the regular round of golf on Wednesday 5th September. Contact the club on 4945-1337 for further details.
Friday chook Run
The winner of the 9 hole stableford competition played this week was Steve Abel with 27 stableford points. He won on a countback from Mark Richards, third was Luchie GHardel with 25 stableford points and Conrad Werner who is a first time player came 4th with 24 stableford points. Beryl Nosworthy, Steve Fahey and Chris Connors won a ball in the rundown. Conrad Werner also won the card draw, beginners luck, eh, Conrad?
Juniors
Winners of the junior 9 hole competition played on Friday were Keiran Shaw, Matthew Bluck, Joe Wecker, Phillip Walker and Mitchell Laughton.
Dawnbusters
The Dawnies played a nine hole competition on Sunday and the winner was Ian Bishop with a 45 gross, 34 nett score. He was followed by Wayne Handley on 37 gross, 35 nett. Third place was won by Larry Mengel with 50 gross, 36 nett. Jack Spruce and Brad Albertson won the pinshots, Pascal had the least number of putts. Don Schuring won the Bradman's prize and Aaron Warren was the snake putter.
