Saturday Comp
Chris Gates won the 18 hole competition on Saturday with a nett 65 from Kelvin Stephenson 66 and Mark Trimms on 68. Pins went to L Tuck, W Foot, M Richards, C Gates, N Taylor and A Stroud. Mark Trimms and Ray Plant lead the Club Championships on 114 after 27 holes by 4 shots. Troy Smith & Simon Dobbins lead B Grade on 126 by 3 shots and Gary Scotford & Daniel Jackson have a 1 shot level in C Grade on 133 from Chris Gates & Ken Todd. Next Saturday will be the final 27 holes with tee off from 9.00 in conjunction with the Monthly Medal, with a BBQ to follow. Check with the club for your tee times.
Friday Chook Run
Bill Foot showed good form for this weekends championships by taking out the Chook Run with a nett score of 29. Gus Ogilvie came second with a 30 nett after playing patchy golf in recent times and the big fella Adam Stroud got in the run down with a 32 nett. The card draw jackpotted this week when Elspeth Scotford was not present.
Juniors
The juniors played a seven hole competition on Friday(we will soon have it up to 9 holes) and the ball winners were: Hayden Emmerson, Matthew Bluck and Mat Hayes.

This week was a Monthly Medal and the results are as follows:-
A-grade winner on 64net was Jim Benny; Runner-up on 70net was Jim McGaffin.
B-grade winner on 63net was Peter Scott; Runner-up on 72net was Peter Browning.
C-grade winner on 68net was Mal Hill; Runner-up on 71 was Ian Giles.
Jim Benny won both of the nearest the pins for A-grade.
B-grade nearest the pins were won by Troy Liesch and Dean Kercher.
C-grade nearest the pins were won by Ian Giles and Nita Luken.
Longest Drives were won by Bec McPherson and Darren Williams.
Dummy Spit award was won by Scotty Wardroper for quiting because of the rain.
Next week we are teeing off at 7.00 am at Laguna. There will be a bus leaving the Pub at 6.30 am SHARP.
