Friday Chook Run
A fine round of three over par 38 saw Benn Ryan take out the chook run. Benn's 24 nett easily accounted for 2nd place Kerry Hall with 26 nett. The rundown went to Steve Fahey 29, Neil Taylor and Beryl Nosworthy both on 30 nett. The card draw jackpotted when Lloyd Kingston was not present when his card was drawn.
Dawnbusters
Great Scott, Young Allan Scott shot a fine 46 giving him 31 nett to win the Dawnbusters weekly event. Bob Stirling was second with 33 nett and Jim Evans third with 34nett. Brad Albertson won nearest the pin(NTP) on #2, while Gary Ruge chipped in spectacularly from off the green to take NTP on #9. Bruce Upchurch was woeful with the putter taking out the snake, while Don Schuring reversed his fortunes from last week being awarded the Bradmans for most number of strokes.
Juniors
The winners of last week's 6 hole competition played on Friday were: Lindsay and Hayden Emmerson, Matthews Hayes and Mitchell Laughton and Caitlin Daly. Don't forget to practice heaps as the Macrossan and Amiet Junior Open will be held at the course on Saturday 12 May. Nominations are being taken now in the Golf Shop
