CHOOK RUN
Don Stafford had his handicap slashed after taking out this week's chook run. Don posted 22 stableford points to narrowly beat Mark Richards and Lance Lloyd who both scored 21 points. Don also won the card draw.
DAWNBUSTERS
Paul Grace shot a hole in one on the twelfth, the hole being the 44 gallon drum used as a rubbish bin. George Stevenson couldn't get off the tee and had a F.R.A.T. on the first 3 holes. Eventually it was the brilliance of Skello (Paul Skelton) to win with a 31 nett, although he did try to throw it away on the last two holes. Jack Spruce was runner-up with 35, and Peter Foot 3rd on 37 nett.
Juniors
Simon Dobbins, Chris Elms and Joel Warren completed 9 holes on Friday and were rewarded with a ball prize. Frank and Rob are preparing the Juniors for the Proserpine Junior Open which will be played at the Proserpine course on Saturday (12 May). B-grade winner on 59net was Mal Carter; Runner-up on a count-back was Darren Williams.
C-grade winner on 62net was Billy O'Shea; Runner-up on 63 was Charlie Watchow.
