Proserpine Ladies Golf
The ladies played an 18-hole stroke and putting competition prior to holding our AGM. The winner for the day was Elspeth Scotford with a 68 net. Runner-up was Margaret Cunningham on a count back from Viv Demartini and Reh Hull all with 72 net. Marlene Gray won putting competition with 31 puts. Marlene also took the NTP's on the 2nd and 13th holes. Reh Hull was NTP on the 9th. Congratulations to Marlene for being voted in as President for 2008. Ladies please be advised that we have started a summer hit off time of 1.30pm on Wednesdays.
Friday Chook Run
After a bit of card confusion Ray Plant was declared winner of the stableford competition for this week. He had 22 stableford points and won on a countback from Sam Gardel. Rob Stanley came second with 21 stableford points and Tom Fleming and Don Hope cami in with 20 stableford points to win a ball in the rundown. Rod Wecker won the card draw.
Dawnbusters
Garry Flannery was the winner of the Dawnies competition played on Sunday with a 52 gross, 34 nett score. He was followed by Pascal with 39 gross, 35 nett and Peter Skelton with 56 gross, 38 nett. Peter won third place by way of a 6 player chip off. Pascal won the pinshot on 16 and George stevevnson won the pinshot on 13 and he was also the snake putter for this week. Brodie Moore won the Bradman's prize and John Albertson had the least number of putts.

This week's competition was a Monthly Medal played over 18 holes.
A-grade winner was Luke Griffiths with a score of 63 net and runner-up was Kerry Hall with 64 net.
B-grade winner was Mick Cooper with 56 net and runner-up Darren Williams with 61 net.
C-grade winner was Gilly once again, with 74 net and runner-up was Ian Giles with 78 net.
Nearest the pins were won by Steve Fahey and Kym Hill for A-grade; Mick Cooper B-grade; and Gilly for C-grade.
Longest Drive was won by Rob McFarlane.
