Recently the Proserpine juniors traveled to Bowen and Collinsville to compete in their junior opens.
The four enthusiastic juniors consisted of Matt Bluck in 18 holes, Tom Dyall and Emma Bluck in 9 holes and Mathew
Bower in 6 holes.
Matt matched his competitors and picked up a Gross Runner up prize. Tom played consistently over the two days and
was in the Nett runner up prizes and the longest drive. Emma is showing great improvement by slashing her handicap
and winning Nett prizes.
In the huge field of 6 hole boys Mathew showed his competitors he is ready to make the move to 9 holes by
collecting Gross prizes each day.
The juniors are returning to the course this week to practice to be able to clean up in prizes at the Proserpine
junior open this Saturday. We will also see Jack Werner and Rebecca O'Neill join the juniors for their first junior
