Course Description - 18 Hole Course
Proserpine Golf Club is a picturesque 18 hole golf course is nestled amongst sugar cane fields with a variety of trees and wild life around the course. A creek running through the back 9 holes makes it quite a challenge compared to the forgiving front 9 holes.
The Opening Nine
The opening nine at Proserpine is a Par 36 that plays 2,909 metres from the men's markers and 2,791 metres from the ladies tees. The front nine consists of one par 5, seven par 4's and one long par 3. A player will encounter narrow fairways, sloping greens, and a variety of hazards on their journey.
After completing the front nine, the player can get refreshments at the Pro Shop. A cool drink and a bite to eat will give the player the required nourishment to embark on the challenging journey to complete the back nine.

The back nine measures slightly over 2,907 metres from the men's tees and 2,659 metres from the ladies' tees. The back nine has one par 5, which is a tricky dog-leg with hazards on both sides of the fairway and a second par 5 for a ladies which is a long but relatively straightforward hole.
There are six (men) or five (women) par 4's which will test the player's patience and skills with a variety of different clubs. The two par 3's require good tee shots as both are protected by a running creek.

Practice Facilities
Situated next to the long par 3 ninth, the 150 metre practice fairway provides generous ground upon which to hone your skills. This practice area offers the golfer a host of shot options including putting, pitching, chipping, and full swing shots.
There is also a practice putting green adjacent to hole one.
